ReplyDeleteThey are done with the registration and regional competition for this year. So unfortunately, there is no chance of registration. It doesn't matter which curriculum you're following to take part in the Olympiads.
Deletewhere can i register for chiitagong division
ReplyDeleteRegistration for Chittagong Division is already completed :(
DeleteShahreer vaiya, is it necessary to memorize the names of all the 88 constelations and how they look? Did you memorize it when you went to IOAA...:'( :'( :'(
ReplyDeleteIt's neither necessary nor useful for the National Round. But I had to learn about most of the Major Constellations while preparing for IOAA. IOAA Observational test is way harder than National.
DeleteWhat is the timing of the national round taking place on the 8th of feb?
ReplyDeleteIt might start at 9 o'clock, not sure though.
Deletei got slctd for the nationals this year from dhaka. Iwould like to have a contact number of the organizers
ReplyDeleteSorry, Neither I can provide you the organizer's contact number nor I'm the authority to do this. But I can surely give you the link of their official facebook group, from where you can get the latest information.

Is it true that a student who participated in IOAA won't be able to participate in the APAO? I think this should be banned.....
ReplyDeleteStudents who participate in IAO (International Astronomy Olympiad) can't take part in the APAO (Asian Pacific Astronomy Olympiad) in the same year. IOAA (International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics) and APAO has no connection.

hi vaiya I'm Fairuz Ishraque ....Rocky vaiya told me that there are two teams ...Can u tell me why?
ReplyDeleteI'm not completely sure what he meant by that! Perhaps there are two teams for IOAA, First one is National Team and second one is an extra Guest team (Some countries send a guest team where team members have to pay an extra registration charge)
DeleteOr, one is for IOAA to be held in Romania and another for IAO to be held in Kazakhstan.
Could you ensure the latter matter?
