National Earth Olympiad 2014 has started. This will be the national level selection competition of Bangladesh Team for the forthcoming 8th International Earth Science Olympiad to be held at Spain in September. Any currently enrolled student from class 8 to class 12 is eligible to participate in the Olympiad.

I did the registration..But I didn't get any confirmation email or SMS till now...Anything more I am supposed to do?

DeleteDue to some technical difficulties BYEI is unable to send sms confirmation to those who registered online after April 22, 2014. If you didn't receive confirmation sms from BYEI, you don't need to worry about it. YOUR REGISTRATION IS CONFIRMED! Just show up tomorrow at 8:30am at Curzon Hall, Dhaka University and there will be spot registration option as well.
Delete- If possible come in your school/college uniform and bring a pen with you, mobile phone is allowed but it must be switched off during the exam.
- The exam will start at 9am and the entire program including the Award Ceremony will be over by 12:45pm.
What about the venues?

DeleteShahreer vaiya, is it obligatory to participate in the GDT program? I mean, I have my year final exam on 10th May. So, it will be quite difficult for me to participate in it even if I get selected... :'(
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, Rafi. Although it's mandatory, there will be an exception for students who have major exams on that day. You can talk in details with Shehab Bhaia after you get selected.
